HOME

I have returned back to New Zealand after a two year absence. I lived in Glasgow to learn more about my craft at the Glasgow Print Studio. It was a great time and I have come away from the experience with new skills and gained confidence in the field of Mezzotint.

Hello, I am a print artist based in New Zealand. I prefer to work in Mezzotint, a time consuming but highly rewarding process. My work is largely influenced by folklore and illustrated books from my childhood. My late grandmother was also an inspirational figure as she told me fairytales that have remained deep in my psyche and instigated a need to vocalise with imagery issues important to me. These images characterise some of the myriad emotions that make us human.
