It has been a looooooong time since I have posted any new works on here- studying has preoccupied most of my creative time. The following two pictures have recently been done in time for a Christmas themed show at Solander Gallery, 218c Willis Street Wellington ...I shall post the full details of this show in the news section.

A WALK IN TUNNOCKS PARK (2010)

200x200 mm, Gouache, Tunnock tea cake and Caramel wafer wrappers, pencil on paper

The goal was to create a work influenced somehow by the humble Tunnock's teacake (A sweet chocolate and meringue biscuit made in Glasgow) A huge fan and devourer of these sweet treats I concocted this little work. I enjoyed the process very much, many teacakes were sacrificed all for a good cause.
